Our Practice
Illumine LLC is owned and operated by Dr. Wade Green Jr. I have over 20 years in the field of mental health. Sometimes gives us the unexpected, a crisis, divorce, or the death of a loved one. Our goal is to assist you through the difficult times and help you realize your full potential. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.

Wade Green Jr., PsyD., LCPC
Wade Green Jr. is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). He is licensed in the state of Maryland. Dr. Green received his Bachelor's from Frostburg State University. He completed his Master's degree at Bowie State University and he completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University/Washington D.C. Campus. Dr. Green is an Approved Clinical Supervisor for LGPCs and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland. Dr. Green is certified in the use of the PREPARE/ENRICH program with pre-marital and married couples. Matthew Scheffenacker MA, LGPC
Matthew Scheffenacker is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with a Master's degree from Loyola University Maryland. Mr. Scheffenacker's intention is to guide you through the process of growth and healing, in a safe and supportive environment, learning to develop healtheir core beliefs, thoughts and behaviors. Mr. Scheffenacker primarily utilizes techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that aim to help you become the most authentic version of yourself through a process that will help you understand the relationship between core beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. Pre-Marital Counseling
Discover Yourself, Your Partner, & Your Relationship
At Illumine, we use the PREPARE/ENRICH program to assist with pre-marital counseling services. PREPARE/ENRICH is the leading program used both nationally and internationally to help couples who are preparing to share their lives together in the union of marriage. The PREPARE/ENRICH program helps to custom tailor the counseling sessions to the couple's strengths and weaknesses.
Pre-marital counseling at Illumine includes a couple's assessment and 6 sessions. The couple will have the opportunity to connect with their significant other in a safe and confidential setting with the assistance of a certified PREPARE/ENRICH professional. In the counseling sessions, couples will explore communication styles, conflict resolution, relationship dynamics, and other core components of healthly, happy, and thriving relationships.

Illumine LLC provides HIPAA secure telemental health counseling from the comfort of wherever you choose (home, care, lunch break, etc.). Contact us today for an appointment.
The requirements to participate in telemental health with Illumine LLC are:
- Reside in the state of Maryland
- Insurance provider must reimburse for online counseling or the client must be self-pay
* Not all cases/individuals are appropriate for telemental health services. This will be determined by the mental health professional.

Contractors wanted - free supervision
Seeking Licensed Graduates and Professionals
Seeking motivated, independently licensed clinicians (LCPC, LGPC, LGSW, LCSW, LGMFT, LCMFT) for contract positions. Illumine LLC is a small private practice looking to grow in Southern Maryland. You can make your schedule and manage your caseload. You will complete your paperwork in our electronic health record system. The practice will manage credentialing and billing. You will handle your scheduling based on agency referrals, therapist availability, and office space. Clinical supervision will be provided to LGPCs and LGMFTs (50 hours) for free. Other professionals must pursue supervision based on their licensure.
Requirements:
- Must be fully licensed (LCPC, LGPC, LGSW, LCSW, LGMFT, LCMFT)
- Must have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Ability to become credentialed with major insurance companies
- Carry own liability insurance
- Complete CAQH application
- Ability to maintain a caseload of a minimum of 6 clients per week
- Ability to work independently
